About this work:

This work is based on the concept of sampling. Like hip-hop music, I take elements from preexisting works of art, and make something new from them. These images walk the line between appropriation and theft, and investigate the idea of originality.

Editions statement:

Each image with an edition are printed out at the listed scale on printmaking paper, signed and numbered, and are archival. They also are affordable, so do not hesitate to inquire about acquiring them.

The physical manifestation of these images occur in two other formats:

Experimental Artist Prints, which are essentially drawings and tend to be small scale

Singular Painted Objects, where the digital print acts as an underpainting, and are on canvas at a larger scale.
